Before visiting any other University Library it is a good idea to ask at the Help and Information Point to check if we have a reciprocal arrangement with them. Most University Libraries require an authorised form from The Library, a passport sized photograph and your Leeds Metropolitan University student card. We recommend that you contact The Library you wish to visit beforehand to check opening hours and their access policy. This is especially important if you have mobility problems or special needs.
HERO (Higher Education & Research Opportunities in the UK) has lists of UK university library catalogues and national library catalogues, such as the British Library, arranged by region.
If you would like to visit another Library, it is always advisable to contact them in advance to discuss any specific needs or requirements you may have.
