Self-Service Holds Prove a Success

28% of people are already picking up their holds during The Library's self service hours, according to a survey conducted in December. Those filling in the survey praised the new system and the help offered by Library when they used it for the first time.

If you put a hold on a book you are now able to collect it 24/7 from the High Demand Area at Civic Quarter or Headingley Library rather than having to ask for it at the Help and Information Point. You will receive an email when your book is available to collect and then you need your Carnegie Card to find the hold on the shelf.
