Passwords and PINs
Username: this is your Leeds Met Username, use it with your Password to log in to:
- PCs in The Library and Helpzone;
- X-stream;
- Skills for Learning (off-campus);
- Library Online resources such as electronic journals, newspapers and databases.
Password: you were asked to choose this when you signed up for the Online Welcome Pack. You may also have been given this by staff in the Helpzone or The Library Help and Information Point. You are asked to change your password regularly when you log in.
Leeds Met Universal Password Manager allows you to change your Universal Password for X-stream, Skills for Learning, My Personal Drives (NetStorage), Google Apps and Campus PCs. You can also set up Challenge and Response questions so that you can reset your own password in the future. For security this system requires you to login.
If you are having problems with your password, you can get help:
Library ID: use this 10 digit number with your library PIN to log in to the Library Catalogue Self Service tab for:
- Placing holds;
- Renewing books;
- Checking your account.
Library PIN: This is a 4 digit number. You can view it in the Library tab of X-stream or collect it from the Help and Information Point in the library.
Campus Card
Campus Card Kiosk Top-up PIN and Online Top-up Password
Campus Card Kiosk Top-up
When you first use the kiosk to add money to your account for printing you will be asked to choose your own 4 digit PIN. If you forget this PIN, use the Campus Card PIN reminder here or in the My Account tab of X-stream.
Campus Card Online Top-up
Find online top-up from the My Account tab of X-stream. You will be asked to choose a password when you register for this service. If you forget this password use the password reminder in the My account tab of X-stream
