Renewing
How do I renew resources I have on loan?
All resources, except Short Loans and Interlibrary Loans, can be renewed on the Library Catalogue or by ringing the Renewal Hotline, as long as no other users have placed a hold on them and your fines do not exceed £5.00.
To renew resources you have on loan, either:
- Renew your books on the self service machines in The Library (you do not need to have your books with you)
OR
- Use Self Service Renewal on the Library Catalogue
To renew on the Library Catalogue:
- Log on with your Library ID and your PIN
- Select Self Service from the top of the screen
- Select Renew my Materials then follow the on-screen instructions
- Please check the dates due and note any items which cannot be renewed
